Edmund Chein

I would like to express my opinion about one of the finest medical doctors in Southern California, Dr. Edmund Chein, who is also an inventor of total hormone gene therapy for which he was granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. There are now over 3,000 physicians in the U.S. using his method to treat patients with age-related diseases.

I met Dr. Edmund Chein in 1995 and have been his patient and on his program ever since. I was then 64.

Now I am 76, and my health is excellent, without any cancer or age-related diseases, thanks to Dr. Edmund Chein’s program.

I am posting to this website in defense of Dr. Edmund Chein’s reputation, since recently there have been several websites tarnishing his image and mentioning the recent revocation of his DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled substance registration certificate.

Dr. Edmund Chein is appealing this decision in the federal district court, Washington D.C. I am convinced, as many others believe, that Dr. Edmund Chein will prevail in the same way he fought successfully against the Medical Board of California (a revocation of his medical license) and the Food and Drug Administration (a seven-count indictment that was dismissed).

As a pioneer in medicine, he was persecuted by the government authorities, the California Medical Board, and the FDA for being the first physician to use Human Growth Hormone on adults in the U.S. when the hormone was only approved for use in children.

In the recent DEA case, there was also no precedent case in whether a physician can dispense and send controlled drugs (hormones, not narcotics) to his patients overseas without having an exporter’s permit. Is Dr. Edmund Chein’s act an act of dispensing (which the law permits), or is it an act of exporting? Can a physician dispense to a patient across the U.S. border without an exporter’s permit? These are the issues the federal court will have to decide. But until then, Dr. Edmund Chein is still licensed to practice medicine and is still taking good care of patients like me.

Thank you, Dr. Edmund Chein, for being the fine, God-loving human being you are.

Sincerely,

George Pickette
